The social media influencer tragically died following a horrific car crash in Mexico, with authorities now investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.

The 38-year-old cooking star was driving in her hometown when disaster struck on Saturday morning.

According to El Financiero, a daily newspaper in Mexic, the crash occurred just after 6 a.m. on Saturday morning when she apparently collided with a parked car.

The driver was reportedly rushing to Hospital del Parque, where she was placed in the ICU in critical condition.

Despite doctors’ efforts, she succumbed to her injuries two days later on Monday evening.

Authorities are investigating whether excessive speed or distracted driving caused the crash, with police having launched an investigation to establish the cause of the crash.

The devastating accident occurred on the Francisco R. Almada highway in Chihuahua, Mexico, when the star lost control of her black GMC Terrain SUV and crashed head-on into the parked vehicle.
